TNTALK: TEAM NIGMA TUESDAYS WITH E.NIGMA

There's been plenty of exciting moments in 2017 already, and if you wanna make some noise, now's the time to get the ball rolling. How did E.Nigma do that? By dropping a new unreleased track every Tuesday of January, presenting Team Nigma Tuesdays! Ladies and gents, tune in to the first #TNTuesdays of 2017, featuring new music (Quarter, Everyday, Mello Speaks) & unreleased bonus material from past projects (For The Culture/Circadian Rhythms, Never Forget/SZN).

ON NEW & UNRELEASED MUSIC IN TNT: Working on projects capture such a moment in time for me, a bit of a photograph of where I was in life. Whether it was friends, my love life or financial obligations it felt like there was always a new plot twist, and that's something I wanted to show in the music. Some were brand new, while others were bonus songs from previous projects, but they both served a purpose: to give TN some new tunes to put in rotation. I got some new music in the works, but in the meantime, I wanna share these moments with them and strengthen that connection, as we grow together through music.

This was my way saying it’ll all be worth it once you achieve your goals, and that change is a sign that you’re growing.

TNT ORIGINS: I was pushing my 2013 EP Soul Purpose when I started feeling the itch to create again, & just like that TNT was created. It was a way to drop new content consistently, while still keeping the focus on the project at hand. Whether live performance audio/video or snippets of a new song that I was working on, I was determined to test new ways of keeping things fresh for #TEAMNIGMA. That was always been the goal. To create for the sake of art and then sharing that piece of me with my fans.

#NIGMAFACTS | STRAIGHT FROM NIGMA BABY BABY

Written a couple days before my 25th birthday (which inspired the title), I was kind of catching TN up to some things in my life at that point, the growth, the mindset. For real thought I lost like 20 GoodWood chains last summer, when I moved into my new crib, but luckily I found them (days before I wrote this song). Shoutout my brother Tony F.

'Mello Speaks' // I've been working with Mello Marc for going on 3 years now, & it's been a blessing the way we've been able to elevate each other. The main goal was to get Mello Marc's voice from behind the beat and on to a track, giving you a different look into the team. The D-Von to my Bubba Ray Dudley. (Or as Mello would put it, the Jeff to my Matt Hardy. Sidebar: Dudley Boyz still the best tag team in history, fight me.)

'Everyday' // Sometimes it feels like you're stuck in an infinite time loop & this song gave me the energy to fight through the daily routine, accept my circumstances and stay motivated to change it. Even then, when you're fighting for a better life, it can feel like you're just being tossed around in a whirlwind with no direction. This was my way saying it'll all be worth it once you achieve your goals, and that change is a sign that you're growing.
