WHERE U AT? Vol. 1 | #WhereUAt

#TeamNIGMA has been out and about in NYC, and between taking pics and meeting new people & brands, we've gotten to witness some of the most innovative and exciting events the culture has to offer. Besides discovering new events ourselves, we get put on through Taqee Bond's WhatsTheMoveNYC newsletter, which inspired us to show the world what curators and brands they should keep an eye out for. We want to share some of our favorites with you, in hopes of giving you some dope brands to look forward to this summer. Check out the scene, and we'll see you at the next event! Tell a friend #WHEREUAT and leave a comment with some events we should check out!

BRIANNI T. PRESENTS:
ANTILEMONADE
New York, NY

The city was filled with excitement, as Brianni T. brought some of the best artists together to pay homage to Beyonce & Rihanna. With interactive exhibits, a host of themed drinks, 3 great DJ's (9AM, Miss Milan & Olivia Dope), not to mention the ambition of Taqee Bond (founder of WhatsTheMoveNYC), AntiLemonade was the ultimate fusion of art and music. One of the most unique parts of the night was the Allure Dance team who put on quite the performance, dancing to a mix of Rihyonce's most popular songs. Music, drinks, & 2 iconic women, made for a night of inspiration and ultimate dopeness. Follow Brianni T. & Taqee Bond for more, don't miss the next event!

THE TRAP NY:
ACTIVE CRIME SCENE
New York, NY

Where there's fire, there's smoke and at Funkadelic Studios in NYC, The Trap NY was smoking. As for inside: PLENTY of fire. Filled with eager ears awaiting a lyrical war, Active Crime Scene was comprised of veterans and rookies, equally eager to add another W to their record. NY vs NJ is always a heated battle among the sibling states, and that night was a clear example, with J Murda (NY) & Dre Dennis (NJ) going at it for east coast supremacy. Between the free drinks, the viscous bars and mind-boggling schemes, this event is a battle rap fans dream, and great addition to your weekend.

3RD & 9TH RECORDS:
BANJI IN THE SHANTY
New Rochelle, NY

Some weekends we seek a hint of chill vibes and a dose of turn up, and Baji In The Shanty had an equal dose of both. New Rochelle was turnt up, and this time it's not because of Night With Nigma, but because of 914 collective 3rd & 9th Records. All they needed was a mic and a DJ to bring the event to life, which included a karate exhibition, talented rap acts, a birthday celebration for local yoga instructor Yogi Love Locs, & an impressive violin solo from 3rd & 9th's own Marvellous Beats. This event was a solid balance of good vibes and good energy coming together to spread some love. Def look forward to more from them!
